Madecasse's journey started when the founders were Peace Corps Volunteers in Madagascar. They fell in love with the country and people and wanted to do more to help, so they started making chocolate using heirloom cocoa from Madagascar. Since then Madecasse has learned a lot about the chocolate industry and what it takes for real change to happen in developing communities.
Besides helping the people of Madagascar, they also believe you deserve chocolate with real flavor and are on a mission to make that happen. They use only heirloom cocoa, the Earth’s original variety, and pure natural flavours. You can really taste the difference.
