Even though you have to spend more time with the preparation of dry chickpeas than canned chickpeas I think it's worth it because you can avoid the salt of canned chickpeas and the value you get is so much higher because this bag will last forever. I use them almost every day and they are my favorite vegan food for high protein and healthy carbs.
Suggested Use
Chickpeas are an essential ingredient in dals, hummus, and other dips, but also great in salads, steaks, soups, dumplings, and stews. Pureed chickpeas are also great for use in baking! Soak the chickpeas in cold water overnight and then boil them in hot water for one hour.
